More Than Benefits. Guidance for Life’s Biggest Decisions.

Every important decision has a story.

Sometimes it’s the excitement of starting a business, hiring your first employee, growing your family, or preparing for retirement. Other times, it’s navigating unexpected change, protecting the people you love, or making difficult decisions during life’s most challenging moments.

Those moments remind us that employee benefits, financial protection, retirement planning, and financial well-being have never been simply about policies or products.

They’re about people.

They’re about protecting everything you’ve worked hard to build, preparing for the future, and having the confidence to move forward when life changes.

At NDS Benefit & Consulting Group, we believe every recommendation should begin with understanding your goals, educating you on your options, and helping you make informed decisions that support your future.

Because when people understand their choices, they make better decisions.

Dr. Natalie Scott

Thank you for visiting NDS Benefit & Consulting Group. I’m Dr. Natalie Scott, and I founded this firm with one simple belief: people deserve more than products. They deserve guidance.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with employers, business owners, individuals, and families during some of life’s most important decisions.

Those experiences taught me something I carry into every client relationship: people rarely need someone to simply explain a policy. They need someone who listens, understands what matters to them, and helps them make sense of their options before asking them to make an important decision.

That belief became the foundation of NDS Benefit & Consulting Group.

A Different Perspective

My career has never followed a traditional path, and I believe that perspective allows me to serve my clients differently.

I earned my graduate degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, where I developed a deep understanding of human behavior, communication, decision-making, resilience, and the emotional factors that influence the choices we make throughout our lives.

I later continued my education at Brooklyn College, studying International Law, further strengthening my understanding of policy, ethics, critical thinking, and the systems that influence businesses, organizations, and individuals.

As my professional journey evolved, I found myself drawn to healthcare, employee benefits, financial protection, and strategic consulting.

What I discovered was that the greatest challenges rarely came from the products themselves. They came from uncertainty.

Employers wanted to do the right thing for their employees while managing rising healthcare costs. Business owners wanted to protect everything they had worked so hard to build. Families wanted to prepare for the future but often didn’t know where to begin.

The problem wasn’t always a lack of options. It was a lack of understanding.

That realization changed the direction of my career.

When Professional Became Personal

Then life reminded me that planning isn’t just professional. It’s personal.

Within thirty days, I lost both my father and my sister.

No degree, certification, or professional experience could have prepared me for that season of my life.

It changed the way I think about planning. It changed the conversations I have with clients. And it strengthened my belief that preparation isn’t about expecting the worst.

It’s about creating confidence before life changes unexpectedly.

That experience reinforced something I had spent years studying through psychology but now understood through personal experience:

Life can change in an instant.

The conversations we postpone today often become the conversations we wish we had started yesterday.

Today, the guidance I provide is shaped by that perspective.

Because behind every employee benefits strategy, retirement decision, healthcare decision, or financial protection strategy is a person.

A family.
A business.
A future.

Why NDS Benefit & Consulting Group Exists

NDS Benefit & Consulting Group was created to provide a different experience.

One built on education before recommendations.
Relationships before transactions.
Understanding before solutions.

We believe employers deserve strategies that support both their organizations and their employees.

Business owners deserve guidance that protects everything they’ve worked to build.

Individuals and families deserve someone who helps simplify complex decisions and prepare them for whatever life may bring.

Our role is not simply to recommend products.

Our role is to become a trusted resource who helps you understand your options, evaluate what fits your needs, and make informed decisions throughout every stage of life and business.

Our Philosophy

Everything we do is guided by a few simple principles.

We listen before we recommend.
We educate before we advise.
We simplify what feels complex.
We build relationships that last.

We believe every recommendation should be personalized because every client has a different story.

Most importantly, we believe informed decisions create stronger businesses, healthier organizations, greater financial confidence, and lasting peace of mind.

Life Doesn’t Happen in Products. It Happens Through Moments.

Life isn’t measured by policies.
It’s measured by milestones.

Starting a career.
Growing a business.
Hiring employees.
Buying a home.
Getting married.
Growing your family.
Preparing for retirement.
Caring for aging parents.
Navigating illness.
Experiencing loss.
Planning your legacy.

These moments shape our lives.

Your employee benefits, financial protection, retirement planning, and financial strategy should evolve with them.

That’s why we focus on helping people prepare before life forces the conversation.

Because planning isn’t about fear.
It’s about confidence.
